On April 3, 2017, I went to the Court House in the town of Akko called "The House of Judgement and Peace" to file a request for a Protection Order against Vitlay Zezkav, the violent male who attempted to commit assault and battery on me. It is a Magistrate Court. It is located on 15 Yehoshafat St. Akko, Israel. Phone: 0772703333.

A female student there named Sveta filled out the paperwork for me in Hebrew. She asked me a series of questions in English about the incident with the violent male who attempted to commit assault and battery on me. I answered her in English by basically reiterating what was in the police report that I had filed with the Karmiel Police Department.

JUDGE ZAHAVA BANAR

When the paperwork was finished I handed it to a female Judge whose name was Zahava Banar. After looking with what appeared to be a mixture of disgust and what seemed to be shock cloaked in a poker

face at my petition for a Protection Order, the Judge asked me a series of questions about the incident with the violent male who attempted to commit assault and battery on me. One of her pointed questions was, "Do you know him?" My candid reply was, "No". Another pointed question was, "Does he bother any of the other neighbors?" My simple reply was, "I do not know." Yet another pointed question was, "How do you know of him?" My flat reply was, "He visits my next door neighbor whose name is Susana."

The Judge, while looking squarely at me, said in a matter of fact tone of voice with a slight lilt at the end of the sentence she spoke, "I am recommending that you be granted a permanent Protection Order for LIFE." Then, she referred me to a phone number of 1700-70-60-44, which she informed me were lawyer services that she claimed are expert at doing this sort of thing, that they speak English, that their attorney service is free, and that they will prepare me for a trial I will attend in a Court House located in the city of Haifa in order to petition for a permanent Protection Order against the violent male who attempted to commit assault and battery on me. After that, the Judge granted me a ninety day temporary Protection Order forbidding the violent male who attempted to commit assault and battery on me from making any contact with me for ninety days, which included his not being permitted to visit Susana Vexler being that her home is so close to mine. Finally, she asked me, "Can you read the Hebrew legal paperwork?" I answered, "Google can translate it for me". She replied, "Oy Vey! Google's translation of Hebrew is awful".

After my meeting with the Judge, the Court House gave me a series of paperwork. One set was for me. Another set was for the Karmiel Police Department. All of it was in Hebrew. One of the Court House clerks, whose name was David who knew I was a new Israeli immigrant remarked, "Is this your welcome to Israel?!" He was referring to the incident with the violent male who attempted to commit assault and battery on me. I bantered back, "I guess I am good at this. So God sends the bad ones my way."

My petition for a ninety day Protection Order was granted on April 3, 2017.

Not long after, my spouse found out that the Department of Justice in Haifa, which Judge Zahava Banar had referred us to via telephone number 1700-70-60-44, cannot help us because they do not speak English and since we are not poor enough to render their services as we make more than 6,000 shekels per month...

...And that if not for Google translation we will not be able to defend ourselves in an Israeli Court of Law.

...And that the Protection Order Law only issues a maximum of one year Protection Orders, two years for special considerations.

On June 14, 2017, I went to the Court House in the town of Akko called "The House of Judgement and Peace" to file a request for an extension for my temporary Protection Order against Vitlay Zezkav, the violent male who attempted to commit assault and battery on me.

On July 3, 2017 at 12:30 noon, the Akko Court House scheduled a Hearing. I was not able to attend as I injured my leg and was not able to walk. My spouse represented me. Once again, Judge Zahava Baner was at the bench. He told Judge Zahava Baner that I was requesting a Protection Order against Vitlay Zezkav for as long as the law allows. Judge Zahava Baner granted me a permanent Protection Order for one year forbidding Vitlay Zezkav, the violent male who attempted to commit assault and battery on me, from making any contact with me, which included his not being permitted to visit Susana Vexler being that her home is so close to mine.

My petition for a one year Protection Order was granted on July 3, 2017.
